Tecna UK is looking for an Installation Technician to join their growing operations team based at their Head office  in Farnborough, Hampshire. This is full time permanent role and a great opportunity for an ambitious and  confident self-starter looking to join an expanding company.

Key Job Responsibilities: 



• Installation of displays both in UK and Abroad. Mainly UK based

• Taking control of allocated prebuilds in the unit and onsite builds through liaising with Project  Managers, other members of the operations team and utilising and updating admin systems.

• Liaising with Operations Manager and Project Managers with situation reports especially when issues  arise to ensure all logistics and appropriate information has been acquired for projects 

• Preparing the hardware prior to builds ranging from woodwork, picking and packing, loading and  unloading vans 

• Ensuring that all paperwork and processes are completed on time. 

• Warehouse and stock management, fulfilment of client orders  

• Manual handling of stock and equipment  

• Handover jobs when required 

• Hitting project deadlines 

• Read and interpret technical drawings (Training provided) to install displays / stands • Liaising with other Operations teams and clients on site  

• Any other tasks or projects from time to time where your skills or assistance is required 



The successful candidate will require the following:


• Great organisational skills

• Ability to use your own initiative 

• Flexible working hours 

• Ability to work effectively under pressure 

• Problem solving skills  

• Attention to detail  

• Driving License 

• Experience in the Exhibition industry is preferable but by no means essential as all training will be  provided.
