Using Tensioned Fabrics and T3

Dramatic shapes, extreme flexibility, ease of assembly and an ability to build up to 6m high are just a few of the reasons why smart exhibitors are using tension fabrics in their trade show displays to create high impact towers, hanging signs, backwalls, lightboxes and conference areas.

Today's fabrics are not only dramatic, durable and cost efficient, and but they are also fire retardant to meet safety requirements at any trade show.

The new T3 Airframe Channel profile has been specifically designed to work with large fabric panels.

Key advantages:

  • Increasing availability from large format suppliers, sign makers and exhibition contractors
  • Excellent print quality
  • Durable - printed panels require no additional image protection and are even washable
  • Dramatic, lightweight and easy to pack
  • Extremely quick and easy to attach to T3 Airframe structure
  • Can be used to clad doors and counters too

Fitting of textile graphics

Depending on the use and the look required, there are an enormous variety of fabrics to choose from. Some fabric is sheer while other material is heavy and opaque. The use of thin, gauzy fabric allows light diffusion which can become translucent and allow images to appear and disappear. Hanging or overhead panels can also be used for blocking or shading light.

Our new channel profile has been designed specifically for easy fitting of tensioned fabric panels. A silicone or latex band sewn into the perimeter of the panel slots neatly into a multi-slot ‘comb’ on the tube. External corners, T junctions and cross junctions are all neatly finished with a range of snap-in accessories.

T3 Airframe fabric structures are ideally suited to large towers, backdrops, conference sets and ‘soft’ lightboxes.
